I updated my facebook status to read:

Uno

I recently picked up a pack of Uno cards and it's great because the whole family plays even Eliza (with a little help). So tonight I took some chalk and wrote You are the only ____ for me with an Uno card in the middle.

I know this is doesn't make sense translated but she knew what I meant

Mini Massage

I could tell MK had already had a long day by the time I came home so I offered to give her a massage. She tried to shrug me off but I still decided to give her a little one anyway.

Lean in for a kiss

Tonight MK fell asleep while watching TV so a leaned over and gave her a kiss on her forehead.

I had this really neat idea to write words on my knuckles and hands.

It's getting hot in here

Today was one of the first hot days of the year and we felt it in our house. Since it seems our AC is in desperate need of some servicing I thought I would leave a note for MK near her pajamas. The note just had the chorus lines to Nelly's song.

Spell it Out

When MK arrived home from work I had the kids settled for bed and the lights out in the house. I took a roll of blue tape and spelled out I MISSED YOU on the kitchen counter for her to see when she came home.

Sucker for Love

I sent MK a facebook gift (icon) of a sucker in the shape of a heart with love on it. Attached was a note: Not only am I nuts about you; i'm also a sucker for your love.

I've Gone Nuts

I picked up a jar of mixed nuts today and removed the wrapper. I stuck a label on it which read: I'm Nuts about you

Text Me Goodnight

Tonight MK kept receiving messages to her phone while we were preparing for bed. So I decided to send her one which said: Goodnight, I love you. She replied: I love you too

Picking Flowers

On my way home today I decided to pick some flowers. Not pick up, but pick. So I stopped on the side of the road and grabbed a couple. And when I came home I gave her the freshly plucked flowers.

Mary Katherine picked up this mess free paint book for Eliza. I allows you to paint without water and the paint is secured within the brush. Eliza loves it because it looks like she is painting an actual pieture. Anyway, tonight I used one of her pages and painted a picture for MK. And just like the instant paint colors, MK...

I've got a rabbit in my pocket

The family was sitting around the kitchen table and I thought it would be a good time pull a rabbit out of my pocket. I put a wind up bunny on the table and on it was written:

Flowers for my amazing wife

When I came home today I brought MK a bouquet of flowers.

Today MK did something that I would like to say I would do but not sure I actually would. It is the kids spring break and MK them to the zoo which is 1 1/2 hours away. She drove there, spent the day and drove back. This is one of the reasons why I love my wife. She is amazing!

I really do miss you

MK was working tonight so I decided to send her an email message during work.

Subject: I MISS YOU!
Message: I really do, and i'm not just saying that because I am here alone with the kids.

I Dream of MK

Today was one of the longest, most difficult days I have had at work. I came home and knocked out. Needless to say, I missed the day but i'm sure I dreamed of MK throughout the night.

Private Message

Tonight after MK had settled down in the bedroom I decided to call the house from my cell phone. I enabled the call block feature because I knew she would not answer a call at 10 o'clock from a private number. So, when the answering machine picked up I gave MK a sweet little message.

Extra Egg

Today we attended an Easter Egg Hunt with members of MK's women's bible study. So, tonight I decided to give MK her own easter egg. Inside the egg was a note:

I was playing with Cameron's Nintendo DS and there is a feature which allows you to chat with other DS users. I was checking it out and decided to write a note to MK. I then walked over to her and showed it to her.

I Love you more than the Final Four

MK complains about how I watch the TV sometimes. When it's noisey and i'm focused on the television I will get up from my set and stand about 2 feet from the screen and zone out. I know it's a bad habit but I still do it, especially during sporting events. So, I placed an note on the TV which read: just wanted you to know, i'd much rather stare at you. What she didn't know was that the Final Four was coming on tommorrow.

A Good Mix

I made a pot of coffee today and asked MK if she wanted some. I moved all of the mugs to the back of the cabinet and place one in the front. MK grabbed the mug and pour her coffee. After she was finished I asked her to look at the bottom. At the bottom of the coffee cup I wrote:
I'm your coffee and you're my sugar; together we're good.
