No Joe

I took the kids to the pool and afterwards we stopped by the movie store which is right beside the coffee shop. I brought home a movie for MK and I to watch however what she really wanted was coffee. If I was thinking I would have picked her up a cup because I knew she would have loved it. Instead I picked up a stupid movie. Missed Opportunity.

My Sleeping Beauty

While in bed next to MK, I updated my status on Facebook to say: I'm sitting next to the most amazing woman in the world.

My brother in law replied to the comment with:
Are you sleeping with my wife?
Good one.

Today we attended Charlotte Symphony Summer Pops Concert at Southpark mall. Before we left I took a napkin and wrote a message on it. While we were enjoying our music and food, I handed MK the napkin which had "Infinity plus one" written on it.

Space Saver

We have an easel we keep in the garage and today I decided to leave a note for MK on it. She was working late so I wrote:

Sweetheart, I saved a spot for you right next to me in bed.

Date night movie

Tonight we had movie night and watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Flash a Rose

I didn't get a chance to pick up any roses today so I just left a flash card with a rose on it next to MK's side of the bed.

CLEAN UP. Trust me the ladies love it. This weekend I cleaned up. Mopped floors, washed and folded clothes, dishes, and even dusted. Now that's love.

Note from a Stranger

Today I had to leave work and make a delivery which was close to MK's work. So I made a quick stop and placed a love note in the car. She had no idea and was surprised to find the note when she left work.

Today I gave MK a romantic card.

I gave MK a kiss on the forehead before turning in for bed.

I wrote a note which read "Goodnight Wonderful" and placed it on MK's bedside table.

The Search is Over

Tonight I was channel surfing and was in the middle of doing a title search when an idea came to me. Instead of putting in the name of a movie, I typed in "Love You Always" I left it up on the screen for MK when she came into the bedroom.

Leap Card

MK picked up these little motivational cards (Leap Cards) to place in Cameron's lunchbox. I picked one from the box and gave it to MK.

Gotta Love Lego's

While cleaning up after Cameron, I grabbed his Lego's and made a heart out of Lego pieces. I came downstairs and later asked MK to look at the mess upstairs. When she got upstairs I had the masterpiece laying at the top of the steps.

Poem

Baskin Robbins Flower

We made a stop at Baskin Robbins while in Charleston, SC. While MK was ordering ice cream I snatched up some flowers from the bush outside. We sat outside, ate ice cream and I had the flowers in the car for MK when we walked out.

Written on the wall

We have a dry eraser board in our kitchen which MK uses to keep track of everyones activities.
She clears it off at the end of the week. Before she could fill it back up I wrote I LOVE YOU accross the board

A couple more lilies

The bunch of lilies from yesterday was not quite enough so I picked up a few more (different color).

Is That Alright?

Tonight while we were putting together goody bags for Eliza's birthday party I stopped in the middle. I googled and found a clip for the movie Love Jones. This was one of the very first movies MK and I attended together. The clip is of the poem "brotha to the night". If you have seen the movie you know the part, if not you missed out on a good movie. Anyway, I recited the poem alongside the movie clip. "....trying to become the funk in your right."

The smell of flowers

I found a cute little flower air freshener and placed it near MK's vanity.
